Cobalt Appeal Fund

Charity Registration No. 1090790

The Cobalt Appeal Fund is a registered medical charity founded in 1964 to provide a Cobalt Radiotherapy Unit for Cheltenham General Hospital. Since this time the Cobalt Appeal Fund has provided equipment for and funded projects supporting oncology centres within Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

Today we provide state of the art imaging for diagnosis, promote awareness and prevention of cancers, facilitate screening for cancer and fund appropriate non-drug related medical research.

My story

We're joining a team climbing 2 mountains in one day to raise £10,000 for the Cobalt Appeal Fund:

SNOWDON stands 1085 metres tall making it the tallest mountain in Wales.

CADAIR IDRIS at 893 metres offers a spectacular hike with views over its lake during ascent and out over the ocean at its summit.
