Story
Hi everyone. On the 18th March my sister Caitlin and I will be taking part in the Major Series 10K run which is organised by the British Military Fitness. We will be running in aid of The Zikomo Trust to support all their amazing projects in Malawi. This charity provides grants and funding for educational and social projects in Malawi aimed at helping the most vulnerable in society, orphans and the elderly.
In this 10K run, we will have to negotiate over 20 obstacles including muddy bogs, river crossings, the spider's web, an ice crawl, log carrying etc. Which will require lots of training as it is certainly not for the faint hearted. Although we know this will be a big challenge, the cause is most definitely worth it!
Malawi is the 6th poorest country in the world, with an average life expectancy of only 63 years old and millions of orphaned children. By donating to this page you will be helping to change the lives of real people living in absolute poverty. We would be extremely grateful if you could help us to raise as much as we can for such an amazing cause. Any donations, big or small, will help to make a massive difference to the most disadvantaged children in Malawi.
Thank you!!
