Just after the New Year a very good friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was a massive shock to us all!  It was a shock and an eye opener to find out that even though she had no family history of cancer she could get this horrible disease at a very young age. She initially had the lump removed  and soon after had a double mastectomy. She is now going through chemotherapy and with the help and support from all her friends and family she will hopefully get the all clear when its all done! She has been an incredible and brave lady and an inspiration to us all!

So we decided to do the Race for Life as a group. We will all be walking the 5k together and we'll be pulling her along on her special cart, as she is unable to do the walk on her own. We will have a laugh and hopefully raise some well needed funds towards this great cause.

She, along with all other cancer sufferers are so very brave and Cancer Research can make all the difference to their lives!

Thank you and hopefully you can come along to Cambell Park on the 8th June to cheer us along! We will probably be the loud ones...!
