My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Raising money and awareness can have a fantastic impact on peoples lives, and there is nothing more satisfying that being able to make some sort of contribution towards a local childrens charity, especially when you know someone personally that will benefit from it!
I recently got chatting to Glyn Knighton whom I have known many years, and who (possibly in an attempt to demonstrate his athletic prowess..) mentioned that he was doing the Derby 10K run in April. Having run for many years myself I quickly enlisted myself, and when it came to deciding who we should fundraise for, I discovered that Glyns daughter Elizabeth has Cerebral Palsy. Hence the charity for this year is Fair Play, who support Derbyshire children with disabilities and their families. Any contribution you make could make a real difference so thank you for your generosity!
