Anna and Dave have asked that friends and relatives do not buy wedding presents and instead may donate to Forces Children's Trust and/or to Troop Aid.  There's only so many toasters a couple can use so gifts are better made to those who really need something.

FCT strive to help children who have lost a parent or had a parent seriously injured whilst serving in the armed forces, they help to make a child smile in a traumatic time and give them something to look forward to.  In 2007 FCT, along with Noel Edmonds, made it possible for a group of children, many of them were the children who lost their fathers on XV230, go to Lapland and meet Santa.  It allowed not just the children to smile but also the mum's to see the kids happy again.
