Story

For my final year in ceramic design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, I will be organizing a charity event to raise money that will go to the non-profit organization, The Hunger Project London. The Hunger Project is a strategic organization that is committed to the sustainable end of world hunger. The event will take place on National Chili day on February 23 2012. For the event I will design bowls that will be hand-thrown. Chili will be sold in these bowls for the customers to take home with them as a reminder of all the empty bowls there are in the world. With help from other ceramicists and friends I am trying to build a supporting community to help make this event possible. Your donations will help cover the costs of the ingredients to be used for the chili meal as well as helping cover event fees. I encourage you to check back occasionally to stay updated for more information where the exact location will take place. Hopefully, with your help, you will be able to come see us on National Chili day at Kings Cross on Eat St.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
