We ran the race in 2hours - meaning we finished in the top 80 women! We decided to dress up as Avatar (see photos) and were featured in TWO newspapers the following day:

What a fantastic day - thanks for all the support!
OVACOME is a small UK based charity that helps ovarian cancer sufferers, by allowing them and their families to access clear, reliable information, support and advice.
As many of you know, Mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the Summer of 2008, so I have decided to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon on 7th March to raise some money to show my support for her and other women in similar situations.
My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by cancer.
I would really appreciate any donations.
Thank you soo much!
