Just putting the finishing touches to my angel costume all ready for tomorrow night! Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored me so far!

I'm doing the Midnight Walk to raise money for St Leonard's Hospice. It's 5 miles, at midnight on June 23rd and this year's theme is Angels and Demons! Now, shall I be an Angel or a Demon?

St Leonard's Hospice is a place I often have to visit through my work. They are a hospice funded almost entirely by donations. They never charge their patients. Every day they need to raise £9,336 to continue providing a vital service to our community.

Every time I visit I am, again, shown how kind, caring and sympathetic every member of staff is. The facilities are lovely and so well looked after. I have the greatest respect for the staff there who do a difficult job with such compassion and respect.

I know that if I were facing the end of my life I would be well cared for at St Leonard's Hospice.

Therefore, I am asking all of you kind people to dig deep and give as much as you can because this place is vital. I hope neither you, nor I, ever need to make use of their facilities but just in case make sure that this amazing place is around for many years to come and for whoever needs their services.
