My close friend is currently being treated for cancer at the Beatson Cancer Centre. That's why I'm supporting the Beatson Pebble Appeal to help fund their research into new treatments for cancer.

I'll be running the Women's 10K on 13th May 2012 in Glasgow. I've never run anywhere before (not even for a bus) and I'm a natural couch potato so running doesn't come easy. Please sponsor me to make all the pain worth while!

Update 13/05/2012: I did it! Against expectations, I ran the whole thing without stopping and finished in 1hr 17 mins. I'm delighted with myself and so grateful to everyone who sponsored me.
