What -

Not content with our (mostly wet and windy) daily cycling commutes we've decided to take a holiday, up the miles and cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats!

When -

We will catch a train to Penzance on the 22nd May and hopefully return to London having cycled to John O'Groats on June 6th (2010). That’s the plan.… 12 days averaging 80 miles per day, and 1000 miles in total. Ouch!

This charity has close connections to us as it’s a charity which raises funds for research and supports children suffering from microvillous atrophy - the subject of Anna's PhD. They also supported her during the final months of research identifying mutations in microvillous atropy sufferers, for which she is extremely grateful.

 

 

 

The charity also aim to provide equipment and facilities for Great Ormond Street Hospital, Birmingham Children's hospital, and Edwards House, and to increase awareness of organ donations.
