Hello!!!
Thank you for checking out my just giving page and for your donation to Sarcoma UK.
I can't believe it....I'm in the London marathon 2013!!!! Whoop whoop!!!
I started my training straight away, back in October. I think it's going okay so far, so hopefully I'll do us all proud and make it round!
I've chosen to raise money for Sarcoma UK following my Mum's recent and successful operation to remove a schwannoma. Which was a large benign tumor, growing from a nerve. It comes under the heading of Sarcoma. Sarcomas are quite rare and Sarcoma UK, are trying to raise people's awareness of Sarcomas. They offer support and information to Sarcoma patients and their families and help with funding for medical and scientific research into causes and treatments. So your donation will really help :-).
Running the marathon is a personal challenge to myself, one that I really want to achieve! So a big shout out to Ben and the dogs( Brassi my four legged running partner and fitness trainer and Zim who's not so much of a runner but welcomes me home), all my family and my mega, cool, fantastic friends/cheerleading squad for helping me to do it!!! Mum you are so brave and thinking of you keeps me running :-)
It means a lot to share my marathon journey with you all. Your help and support is very much appreciated :-)
