Anna runs 40 miles for Alzheimer's Society

I work for a company called MOO. MOO employs nearly 600 people across 6 offices, the furthest being our HQ in London and our office in Denver, Colorado, some 4,658 miles apart. In July the whole company will be running for charity, in an attempt to collectively run this distance. We are calling it the LON>DEN MARATHON.
Each MOORunner (including me!) will complete their own running challenge: a marathon, a 10k or simply trying to clock up as many miles as they can in the month. In addition to their individual fundraising efforts MOO and some of our partners will be donating £1 per mile run to World Mental Health Day, so every mile will count in this month-long challenge.
I have chosen to take part and honour the memory of my Grandad, who sadly passed away at the end of last year, after battling with Alzheimers. I am aiming to run more than 40 miles across July (I have 2 small kids folks!).
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
