<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">I’m cycling with Karen Moore-Haines and running with Steve, her husband, we are raising money for DBA-UK, a charity which supports families affected by Diamond Blackfan Anaemia.</span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Diamond Blackfan Anaemia (DBA) is a rare blood condition usually diagnosed before 12 months of age. People with DBA fail to produce effective red blood cells and need various invasive treatments ranging from monthly blood transfusions to regular steroid treatment, and in some cases, a bone marrow transplant.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The charity aims to deliver <em>support, research and hope</em> to the DBA community in the UK by bringing families together, communicating the latest medical information and funding research into causes and cures.</span></span></p>
