We are taking part in the Vyners 3 Peaks Challenge in June 2015 raising as much money as we possibly can for two charities; Friends of Vyners and Asthma UK. We are aiming to complete the Challenge in 24 hours which involves getting up and down the three highest peaks in the UK; Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales) and all the driving in between! We are part of a group of friends, including 3 adults and 4 teenagers, and (most of us) have been training long and hard.

Sadly, a family has recently lost their oldest son to an acute asthma attack while he was away at University. His younger brother attends Vyners School. Since this happened, we have found out that 3 people a day die of asthma and research is funded by above charity. It does not get the support as much as some of the other national charities. In addition, another ex-Vyners student lost her life to Asthma just before Christmas so supporting this charity has been fully endorsed by all those connected to the school.  Friends of Vyners support various school projects raising money to buy equipment for the benefit of Vyners pupils.
