Story
Sadly, In 2008 I lost my Grandmother Maisie to cancer.  My Family chose to take care of her in a home environment, which was physically draining and frustrating when times were difficult. However the the organisation Alzheimers Society helped support us through this difficult time and made it all that little more bearable for Maisie and my Family, and continued to offer ongoing support to their families for as long as it was needed.  They rely on public donations and I would like to raise money this organisation.  A nice, traditional sponsored walk seemed like a safe bet, but to make it more of a personal challenge I have decided to do the Edge Walk on the roof of the CN Tower in Toronto, 1,168 feet above the ground.  It would be incredible to raise whatever we can to help give back to Alzheimers Society and help them care for others with the disease and their families. The walk is on 12th July so we don’t have much time!  Anything you can give will be so appreciated by me, Alzheimers Society and by the people who still need their help.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you for your generosity.
