Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and thank you to all who have donated so far!! (Photo courtesy of the West Sussex County Times)

For 20 years I (Anna) have lived with epilepsy, but in June 2011 I had brain surgery to treat the 10 seizures I was having every month. Since the op I have been seizure free and Scott and I want to raise this money to say 'Thank you' for everything Epilepsy Action does for the 600,000 people in the UK who have epilepsy and the families too.

You can read my full story including an interview with my brain surgeon on the West Sussex County Times website by clicking here (opens a new window).

We're doing a sponsored walk with the Guildford Epilepsy Action branch on Sunday May 20th, which anyone can take part in, and we're also going to have a few other fundraising activities to raise awareness of epilepsy.

Please give generously and if you're a tax payer, don't forget to tick the Gift Aid box. It'll allow the charity to get money back from the taxman!!

Anna and Scott
