Story

Thank you for visiting Anna's Trust JustGiving page. Please take a moment to read the story behind Anna's Trust and what a direct meaningful difference your donation will make.

Sadly Mum passed away late last year after a brave and dignified battle with cancer. Whilst she was ill, and knowing that the end was not far away for her, Dad, Edward and I made a promise to Mum to keep her memory alive. We decided to set up a Trust and fundraise for causes that were close to Mum's heart.

Edward and I had the best start in life by being surrounded by loving caring parents who always put their children first and made personal sacrifices willingly. Anna was not just passionate about the welfare of her own children, but always had a desire to help any young person. Unfortunately there are many children in the world who do not have this foot up at the start of their lives, so the area we have choosen to direct funds raised by Anna's Trust is to help needy children, just as Mum would have done.

The aim of Anna's Trust is to channel money directly into projects that will create an immediate improvement in the quality of life of young people. Our aim, in conjunction with the Holt Youth Project in Norfolk, is to help a group of young carers. With your help we will be able to make a dramtic improvement in the lives of these people who give so much at such a young age. Please go to http://www.holtyouthproject.org.uk/ where you will find a link to Anna's Trust and more information on the work we will be doing.

Dad, Ed and I have entered the Fritton Lake Triathalon in June, no mean feat for a family of non swimmers. If you are feeling active and would like to join us in raising money to continue Anna's legacy please e mail me at jimi_swill@hotmail.com and I can give you more details. Otherwise please donate whatever you can and I can assure you that your donations will be going directly to those that need it most and will make a real and noticable difference in a young persons life.
