Our Grandson Theo has 22q11 this presents many challenges for him, and he has already had 2 major operations, several minor ones and a few more to come. Every grandchild is special but Theo is always so brave and takes so much in his stride which is very humbling. He was 4 on 10th December 2010. His parents are amazing as they work with Theo and the Doctors to clear every hurdle.
Each year I will choose a charity linked to 22Q11 and comit to suppporting them.
My charity of 2010 is Cleft.org.uk The research and positive results from this research have benefitted him directly this year. Just a year ago the operation he had this Novemember looked to be at least 5 years off.
