I'm running with 'Team Ford'  in memory of a school friend Alison who would have been 47 years old on the day of the run 7th September, but lost her fight against breast cancer last year. The photograph of her below was taken when she was Editor of the BBC Breakfast programme. She was an inspiring and vibrant woman who everyone wanted to be like. I still can't believe she's gone, so I'll do my best to struggle round because I'm lucky enough to have my health and the support of my fab family and friends.

I know we are always being asked to donate to charity but if you can donate one pound it will go towards an excellent charity and it will make the pain much more worthwhile!!
