The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After reading and hearing what the Princes Trust does for young people in the UK including Scotland , I decided to join my colleagues on this 45 mile cycle. The Prince's Trust run a range of training programmes, provide mentoring support and offer financial grants to build the confidence and motivation of disadvantaged young people. Each year they work with about 60,000 young people, with around 80% moving on to Employment, Education, Training or Volunteering.

On a more personal goal I felt I needed to get fit and why not raise money for this great cause at the same time. So dig deep and support this great cause and if you see me out and about training on my bike give me a toot ...trust me you'll spot me a mile off :-)
