Hello & welcome to my JustGiving page
For those who don’t know, I’d like to take a few moments & explain my motivation to raise money for Heart Research & why you can make a difference. January 2009 brought an event which changed our little family, forever. Without illness, warning or farewells Simon, my partner & brilliant dad to Aidan, died of heart failure – he was only 37 yrs old.
I wanted to do something, & not having a DeLorian in the garage or Doc Brown's number I couldn't change the past. But in the hope of preventing this happening to someone else's little family here I am committed, (but quietly petrified!) & asking for your support.
People who know me will also know that my previous exercise regime consisted of, um…. nothing. So to go from 0 to 26.2 miles is no mean feat & worth a few pounds of anyone’s money, so please dig deep! I may not be the fastest or fittest, but I am here & I can, so I will.
