Hello everyone

I am heading  off to Bangladesh in October to volunteer for 6 weeks in a rehab centre for spinal injury patients.

My full trip is fully paid for I would like to raise money for the centre itself. The Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP)  relies solely on charitable donations to continue to provide its service.

There are huge numbers of traffic accidents in Bangladesh. Bengali people carry huge loads on their heads and many slip during the rainy season. Also many fall from trees while harvesting coconuts. This all results in the country having an exceptionally high number of spinal injuries
