Story

Welcome to our JustGiving page.

We will be attempting to complete the Great Scottish 10km Run. All money raised will be donated to the MS Society for . This Charity is very near to our hearts.  As some of you will know a close family member was diagnosed with MS at the age of 32, two years ago.

MS, Multiple Sclerosis is a condition of the central nervous system. MS is the most common, potentially disabling neurological condition affecting young adults.

has the highest prevalence of MS in the world with 1 in 500 Scots affected. Diagnosis is generally between 20 and 40 years of age and two woman have MS for every one man.

Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life. Treatments and specialists can help you manage the symptoms well. Although its cause is not known and a cure has yet to be identified, research continues into all aspects of the condition. Your sponsorship money will help provide care, support, equipment and research funding for MS.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, quick and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us. JustGiving ensures that the MS Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, they make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation.

Thanks for all of your support, once we have completed the run we will let you know how we did.
