Remembering Georgia Cordery

Virgin London Marathon 2016 · 24 April 2016 ·
Georgia's Teenage Cancer Appeal (GTCA) was founded in 2009 by Georgia and her family and friends. It was following Georgia's diagnosis of a rare and very aggressive form of cancer known as 'Rhabdomyosarcoma'. She was just 13 years old.
GTCA is supporting 'CLIC Sargant', the UK's leading cancer charity for children & young people and their families, by funding a part-time member of their social care team. This includes home visits during cancer treatment, pallative care and following bereavement. These resources were not available to Georgia and her family when it was most needed.
Georgia lost her battle with cancer in 2010 aged 14.
Georgia and her family have been dear friends for over a decade now. Please donate and help GTCA to improve the lives of children and young people suffering from cancer and other life threatening conditions. To view the work of GTCA go to www.gtca-appeal.org
