Annie's Channel Swim Relay

Channel Swim Relay 2019 · 6 May 2019
In July of this year, my team mates and I will endeavour to swim the English Channel in accordance with Channel Swim Association rules, that is - a swimming costume, single cap, goggles and a whole lotta heart.
A Channel Crossing is a huge challenge; tides, jellyfish, cold, ferries, swimming at night, combine to make it the Everest of swims. This will be a huge personal challenge and training is already proving tough. Be aware, not a penny that is raised will be used in facilitating my midlife crisis, I have already met all personal expenses and associated costs.
The Alexa Trust is a small charity which provides invaluable support to parents and families with babies in Neonatal Care. It promotes and protects the good health of women and their babies through education and raising awareness of pregnancy related issues particularly pre-eclampsia, premature babies, and neonatal death, including the education of those working in neonatal unites to enable them to care for such women and their babies. Every penny donated to a small charity such as this has a direct impact.
Enjoy these links and please donate if you can, I'm overwhelmed by the encouragement I am surrounded by.
