Sarah Quinn is raising money for The Myton Hospices
In memory of Annie Callaghan
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

Last year our friend and colleague Dr Annie Callaghan spent time at Myton Hospice before she sadly passed away. In her memory we would like to raise money for Myton Hospice. Some of us wanted to do a cake sale, some wanted to do a sponsored silence and then some bright spark thought a wolf run would be a great idea. We signed up to do the summer wolf run on the 3rd of June 2017 (before knowing exactly what we had let ourselves in for). Some of us can’t run, can’t swim and are not at the fittest we probably should be. We were then told exactly what the wolf run entails - a 10k run through Woods, Obstacles, Lakes and Fields. Our aim is to raise as much money for Myton Hospice as we can, to have fun as a team and not get seriously injured ( which is a possibilty). There are around 30 colleagues from the paediatric department at UHCW participating.
