On the 21st of March I'm running the Reading Half Marathon for Nowzad dogs. As you will be able to see from the charity's website, the animals the soldiers rescue provide some degree of comfort to servicemen and women facing the daily horrors of this conflict. It is not surprising that that the men and women on the front line then seek to provide the dogs with as much comfort as they can give. This is where Nowzad Dogs steps in as they work to rehome the likes of Arnhem, Bear and the "Char Badmashis" with caring homes.

As a dyed-in-the-wool dog lover, the work that the people of Nowzad Dogs carry out really touched me and inspired me to try and help. So I'm running the Reading Half Marathon.......

With one leg (sorry, had to get that in there somewhere!) so please sponsor me and help to improve the quality of life of these animals.
