<p>WE DID IT!!!I</p> <p>... we&nbsp;walked to the top of the world - Mount Kenya - to Point Lenana at 4985 metres - as part of an&nbsp;expedition to help raise funds for Hospice Care Kenya and especially the hospice in Nairobi where one of my fellow explorers, Dr Mike Hughes,&nbsp;was medical director&nbsp;for a number of years.&nbsp; The event also marked Mike's 50th birthday and five of us&nbsp;embarked on this extreme challenge over 7 days starting 25 January 2011.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We paid for the cost of the trip ourselves.&nbsp; All money raised is going directly to Hospice Care Kenya.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
