As i am sure that you know my Farther has terminal Liver cancer. He is spending a lot of time in Overgate Hospice Halifax and without there care and dedication he would not have the comfort of life that he has at the moment.
I am doing a sponsored midnight walk on the 12th September which is around Calderdale for 13miles.
Depending on Dads health at the time i am hoping to push him up hill and down dale the whole way which i think will give him a goal to aim for and a sense of achivment.
Last year the hospice did the same walk which 200 people took part and raised an amazing £16,000.00 which sounds a lot of money but infact this is what it costs to run the hospice a week as its totaly self funded and depends on your donations.
