Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro · 29 January 2010

The Nepal Trust is working with Health, Education, Renewable Energy, Heritage Preservation and Eco-Tourism in the far NW of Nepal. Its main objective is to help create community projects that emphasize local participation and responsibility and give hope to the people of this very remote and impoverished area, where every day is a struggle for survival.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I celebrated becoming an OAP on Jan. 4th and am looking forward to receiving my pension. At the same time it made me feel rather old so I decided to celebrate by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. This is a titch short of 20,000 feet and a 7 day climb. As you can see a large part of my family decided to join the fun. The young ones are going to haul the oldies to the top on the last day.

My charity is The Nepal Trust of which I am finance Director. Google NEPAL TRUST or www.nepaltrust.org for information on the great work they do in a very remote part of the world.

Please give generously to this great cause.
