Tullow WW1 Centenary Charity Cycle · 4 June 2014

The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

Hello All,

Thanks for supporting my annual charity cycle, it is much appreciated!

This year's ride will start in Brussels on Wednesday 4 June and will finish after 250+ miles cycling at the London Tullow office on Saturday 7 June.

As this year marks 100 years since the outbreak of WW1, the 2014 Tullow charity cycle ride is therefore looking to commemorate this fact by visiting some of the battlefields, trenches, memorials and graveyards of the Great War, and by raising money for injured service personnel in recent conflicts .

Combat Stress are a charity whose sole purpose is caring for war veteran's mental health. They currently support around 5,200 ex-service men and women including 724 that served in Iraq and 396 that served in Afghanistan.

You will find the sort of issues they face and how they deal with them in the video on my page.

Thanks for your support!
