Story

Hi All,

As you all know, we have been through a pretty tough time with the arrival of Phoebe.  With Jamie and Phoebe almost losing their lives, the whole situation was a bit of a blur that was only navigated through with the help of family, friends, hospital staff and some amazing charities.

I met David Cole by chance at a work event whereby I told him the story of Phoebe and he explained the sad story of what had happened with Oscar.  To say it hit a chord with me is an understatement and I knew I had to support the charity David and his wife Hannah have setup in memory of Oscar.  Thinking of Oscar support families whose children are in hospital care and it really is a worthy cause.  Having been there, you are so vulnerable and need all the support you can get.  We had great support and the hope is that Thinking of Oscar can ensure everyone going through a similar thing can too.  You can see the great work they do by visiting their website here: http://www.thinkingofoscar.com/

So please help support this cause with as much or as little as you can.  To say I'm dreading this sprint triathlon is an understatement...as most of you know the nearest I normally get to a treadmill is as I saunter past it on the way to the weights room :)  Add a 6 month Phoebe to the equation and training has been tough!  Nothing compared to the pain we went through though and that others are going through so please help this great charity.  Thanks!  Ant
