IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire · 14 June 2015 ·
Swim 1.2 miles, Bike 56miles, Run 13.1miles, and how every £1 you give = 6 months of smiles.
7 years ago me and my brother made a bold last minute attempt at an Ironman 70.3. With only 3 months training and zero triathlon experience we had set ourselves up for a right mess of a day. I lost my goggles in the lake with over a mile left to swim. Tim kindly shared his pair with me but ending up swallowing so much lake water he spent most of the cycle throwing up in roadside porta-loos.
£150 = Surgery for one child, that's the life of that person, and everyone they smile at changed for the better.
£50 = 1/3 Surgery, so that means you would be directly responsible for about 25 years of smiling time (if they live another 75 years. 75/3=25!)
£15 = Thats 7.5 years of smile time, or something like that.
Bless you all for reading this far. And Thank you so much for your kindness and continued friendship.
