Running for Rheumatology · 20 March 2011

Arthritis Matters is a local charity based in Reading, which provides help and support to people suffering from arthritis. We offer a friendly community with social events and mutual support, helping sufferers to understand and deal with the disease, and to enjoy life.

Story

A few months ago, a group of my patients asked me if I would run the Reading Half Marathon 2011 to raise funds to beat arthritis. I said yes!

Update: I did it! I ran the Reading Half Marathon on 20/3/2011 with a time of 2:12:34. Thank you for all your support. This page will remain open for a while longer so please sponsor me for the run!

Please help us beat arthritis by raising funds to buy an ultrasound machine (£25k) for the benefit of patients with arthritis.  This will improve patient care as the ultrasound machine will allow us to detect and treat arthritis early.

Supported by Arthritis Matters and The Royal Berkshire Charity.
