Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in memory of our dear father, Papa.

As you know he suffered very badly from asthma throughout his life and would be laid up in bed for days on end with 'the pipes' giving him 'the pip'. It's thanks to improved inhalers ('puffers' in Papa speak!) in more recent years that he was able to lead such a long active life.  He would frequently wonder if a cure would ever be found.  This is why we are asking you to help the AAIR (Asthma Allergy & Inflammation Research) Charity based at Southampton General Hospital.
