Just to update now that I have completed the event - it was scary to say the least to step over a barrier (designed to keep me in!!) on to what can only be described as a plank similar to what you would expect to see strapped to the side of a pirate ship, and then step into......nothing!! It was a wonderful (terrifying) experience and a big thank you to everyone who managed to raise a massive £419.

On Sunday 18^th April I have volunteered for a fund raising event that will benefit children and disabled people of the by zip-sliding (aka DEATH SLIDE!!) from the top row of the Goodison Park Main Stand across the pitch and into the stand opposite:

Big deal – it’s only 68 metres?

Well, I’m TERRIFIED of HEIGHTS!!

In doing this, I have pledged to raise funds for the Everton Foundation and its work with:

Disability, Health, Education, Social Inclusion, Education, Community Engagement
