Story

I love cycling, but I'm a mountain biker at heart. This means short distances, and going downhill a lot. The RideLondon 100 is the bike equivalent of the London Marathon -it's a whole level (or 10!) above anything I have done so far.

I'm excited - and terrified!

But I'm doing it for the Museum, and that motivates me. It's a beautiful place, and one that I've loved visiting since I was little. I've learned that it's so much more than just a lovely building with fascinating objects. There are over 300 scientists working there, researching everything from neglected tropical diseases and evolution, to forensic entomology and marine biodiversity. Their collections are used by thousands of scientists around the world. I want to help fund more research, and be part of the amazing things they can achieve.

Thank you for your support!
