Headway East London is a fabulous charity which supports people affected by brain injury across 14 London boroughs. It is London's only inner city brain injury survivors centre offering a variety of services five days a week including family and carer support, a younger person's network, outreach, volunteering programme, occupational programme, advocacy and key therapies.  Many of the patients who I work with at the Homerton Regional Neuro Rehabilitation Unit go on to become Headway East London members. 

 

So, I thought I would throw my hat into the ring and support them by joining the RNRU Dance Geeks and dancing my little socks off (and possibly a tutu or two) in the Headway East London Dance Marathon on Saturday 27th April which will see yours truly dancing for 8 hours (8 hours????) including Hip Hop (!), Breakdancing (!?) and Michael Jackson (Michael Jackson????) .....  (and no tango!!!!!)
