Story
The Archway Project, which provides a range of educational and recreational activities from motorbike mechanics to cookery, is seeking to raise £10,000 to fund its annual camping and off-road motorbiking residential.
The charity sets up camp in the wilderness, and teenagers are given the opportunity to spend a week riding off-road motorbikes everyday, learning new skills and techniques on unexplored terrain. They leave London behind for the countryside, where evenings are spent around a camp fire. An outdoor garage is set up at camp, where volunteers and staff repair the bikes in the evening in readiness for riding the next day.
The Archway Project is working hard to ensure that the trip can go ahead in August 2010. Money needs to be raised to cover camping fees, motorbike fuel and spare parts, food, cooking gas, camping equipment, staffing costs and minibus fuel.
Thank you for your help!
