Thank you for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page in memory of the wonderful Stephen Debank.

Stephen founded and ran the very popular internet website www.britmovie.co.uk dedicated to British films and TV, where he was known to all as DB7 or, as he called himself, ‘the reluctant Webmaster’. He started out in a very small way in order to contact fellow enthusiasts and ended up creating a community with over 9,000 members from all over the World.

He was also a life-long Liverpool FC supporter.

Stephen passed away peacefully in hospital on the 16th February 2012 aged only 44 years and left a void in everybody’s life that he passed through, whether it was on the internet or in real life – in particular, his devoted and loving family.

It was their wish that, in lieu of flowers, friends should donate money to The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital, Oswestry in Stephen’s memory which is why this page has been set up.
