The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Wheels for Change is an annual fundraising cycling challenge led by Barclays colleagues to raise money for charity. This year we are raising money for the Prince’s Trust, which specifically focuses on 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed, struggling at school, or at risk of exclusion.

Besides doing something worthwhile for others, I decided this would also be a great way to get in shape (so far I think I was right!). In August I bought a bike and began the journey with lots of support and encouragement from my family and friends.  I have even rented bikes during my trips to Poland and France to keep the training going!

Whether you are an avid cyclist or just interested in getting behind a great event like Wheels for Change, I appreciate any support you can give through your contributions and continued well wishes.

Thanks for giving back and helping me to cycle on,

Arek
