The mission of Foundation for Prader-Willi Research UK (FPWR UK) is to eliminate the challenges of Prader-Willi Syndrome through the advancement of research. High quality research will lead to more effective treatments and an eventual cure for this disorder. FPWR UK was founded in 2010 by parents of children with Prader-Willi Syndrome.

Story

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

In August we will be taking on a Scotland Coast to Coast challenge, with a slight twist!

Day 1: Starting at Fort William on Scotlands West Coast we will head off in our super hero outfits and climb Ben Nevis (highest mountain in the UK) and then cycle into Gairlochy. Camp.

Day 2: Cycle to meeting area with canoes and then canoe for 4 hours up Loch Lochy. Evening trek to Fort Augustus. Camp.

Day 3: Cycling from Fort Augustus up to Inverness.

Total of 77 Miles in 3 days.

Why? Because we want to raise as much support, awareness and funding for FPWR-UK. We believe, pray and hope that research can hold a brighter future. Scientists and doctors around the world are working on specific PWS clinical trials and studies and every project we can help fund will truly make a difference to the lives of all those with PWS, now or in the future.

It starts with us. Thank you for your support.
