Hello one and all,

Thank you first for visiting my page.

Like many of you, I've lived a very privileged life. We have a roof over our head, free access to healthcare and a free education. More importantly we live in a world where we don't need to worry about whether the water we drink is safe or if we are getting enough food in our tummies.

We too often forget how much we have and only when we lose something do we realise its true value. 

I find it truly impossible to imagine what life must be like for orphans. Without the charity, they would have nobody. No place to sleep, limited education and have to live with the horrors of their loved one's deaths.

Fortunately, the KOP was established to fight this. To provide a service to these children so that they can still build their own futures. It provides thousands of children with hope and raises awareness for their struggles across the UK.

This summer, I have decided to volunteer for this cause and will be spending two weeks working with the most vulnerable. The money raised will be used to provide supplies and help support projects in Western Kenya.

I hope you can all donate at least something.
