I am however prepared to use the power of gravity to drop to the gound from a high building to raise money for the fantastic Silver Star baby unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital. I'm Patron of the unit, all 3 of my kids were born there, and I've seen first hand the amazing work it does saving the lives of mums and babies every day.</span><span style="color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"> </span></p>

Vitally, the unit also leads the way in goundbreaking research into the causes and treatment of serious</span><span style="color: black; font-size: 15pt; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"> medical conditions in pregnancy, and specifically the commonest medical condition - pre-eclampsia. As a result, though the unit is based in Oxford, it has a profound national and international impact. Specialist care and research costs money, and though this is a top class NHS unit, it constantly needs financial support from outside. </span></p>
