Tough Mudder Half Yorkshire 2018 · 28 July 2018 ·

We change children’s lives every day by pioneering ground-breaking medical treatment in a comfortable & engaging environment at Sheffield Children’s. All the money raised helps create a healthier future for children & young people, funding projects that are over & above the standard NHS provision.

Story

On 28th July I am doing a Tough Mudder Half which is a challenging five mile military style assault course. As I am under 18, I have to have an adult to go round the course with me so my dad (reluctantly) volunteered!

Then on 30th September I'm doing a Tandem Skydive (not with my dad!).  I will jump out of a plane at about 15,000ft then freefall for one minute reaching terminal velocity at 120mph. At about 5,000ft the instructor will open the parachute and we get chance to admire the view as we float to the ground.

I'm doing these challenges to raise money for Aidan Bancroft's fund for Sheffield Children's Hospital. I think Aidan would be proud of me.

This is the last fundraising I'm doing for my Duke of Edinburgh Award. I hope you can support me and the Children's Hospital in the vital work they do to help children and their families when they need it most. I miss you Aidan.
