Hey,

         I decided that if I was going to do the Marathon for a Charity then I should do it for one I have a reason to take an interest in. I kinda chose Arthritis Care because my mum has pretty bad Rheumatoid Arthritis, I guess that’s kind of hard to explain so I'll try, a little. Rheumatoid Arthritis, isn't just about a particular area of your body, its more of an all over thing, so kind of imagine that every joint you've got starts to ach, that’s kind of how my mum describes it. Ok, so it hurts, well there are only so many drugs and types of pain relief they can give you for this sort of stuff and because of that my mum will probably never go back to full time work now. She's lucky, she's got family and friends around her who can support her and I know it still really hard on her, but what if she didn't? What if she didn't have people round her who  could help her out, come visit and stay with her, then I think it would be a different kind of story. That’s why I chose Arthritis Care to sponsor me for the run.
