I've decided to run another marathon. I'm not sure why. My knees are still a bit rickety and I'm about as fit as your average walrus but I have three months to fix all that. I'm supporting our local community centre because of all the great work they do for the elderly in the area. It's the kind of work that actually makes a difference to people's lives, many of whom would be otherwise simply forgotten by society. They have a great team of people who organise day trips, theatre trips and wonderful events and classes in the centre itself. I wouldn't want anyone to make a donation they couldn't afford but please remember that every penny gets put to good use.
