Story

Dear Family and Friends,

Thank you for taking your time to visit my page.

As many of you may be aware, I recently came back from Hungary after spending six inspirational weeks working for an international human rights organisation called the Mental Disability Advocacy Center (MDAC). This organisation has a sister-charity in the UK, and my plan is to help raise money for their cause.

MDAC works to advance the rights of children and adults with intellectual disabilities and psycho-social disabilities across the world. The NGO uses law to promote equality and social inclusion through strategic litigation, advocacy, research and monitoring and capacity-building.

In the short time I spent with MDAC, I witnessed true dedication to social justice. By running on their behalf, I hope that my efforts will also bring greater awareness to their campaigns.

Many thanks and appreciation,

Om

PS: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
