The believer manifests his love for his brother not only through words but also through actions. Alhamdulilah we have an oppurtunity to manifest our love into action through this amazing tournament by fundraising for our brothers and sisters who will need to have iftaar during the blessed month of Ramadan.

As-Sabiqoon are proud to present.... Ummah Cup 2016 in aid of Ummah Welfare Trust's Ramadan Iftaar Appeal.

This will be 48 teams split into two tournament. 32 teams will take part in the over 16's tournament and 16 teams will battle it out in the 12-25 tournament. Both tournaments will run in the same format as the UEFA Champions league style layout.

There will be trophies and medals up for grabs as well as a wide array of stalls available and not to forget plenty of food on sale. However, the most important aspect of the tournament will be the fundraising competition whereby teams will compete with each other in raising money for the appeal. The winner of this competition will likewise be rewarded for their efforts in the form of a trophy each as a tribute to their eagerness in helping other's.

It is important to note that 100% of the proceeds from this tournament will go towards the appeal aswell as all food sold on the day. Ummah Welfare Trust themselves also conduct a 100% donations policy, so we hope you will find peace of mind with our charity and not concentrate on anything else but what we set up to do.... FUNDRAISE!!
