After a life of hard work and dedication to his family, his business and the door industry, Alec Murphy, Founder of Asfordby Doors was sadly diagnosed in 2007 with lung cancer. Following a short battle with this aggressive disease, Alec passed away in 2008. 

Alec will of course be remembered by his family, friends and colleagues, but the tireless work he dedicated to the business and his customers for over 19 years will be remembered and continued through Asfordby Doors.

Cancer Research UK is therefore a charity which is very important to us and we aim to raise money throughout the year.
